    Hi Guys

Have a Sky+HD box in main sitting room. Not sure if there is newer ones or they are all just the standard size but always seem to be running out of space? box is a good 4-5 years old

Anyway have standard Sky as part of multiroom. My mate has 2 free boxes and I was going to take one and hook it up. Is this a problem? can I do this? I will just use it to record the other thing direct. Not use the iphone app. Just use that on main box. Maybe keep it for late night films

Will it work? also will I need to leave it on the channel I want to record or will it auto change to channel when it needs to start recording? :D

yes it will work , just ring sky to pair the new box.

Watch the stuff on the sky box that you have recorded. :) and Delete it after.

Ahh some stuff you just can't delete!!! mostly rugby match's:D

Just in terms of recording, I know I can't watch and record at same time as I only have one line but if I am away and leave on wrong channel will it move over?

    Thanks
