00 corolla clutch or gearbox problem? help neeed!

i have a 00 corolla 1.6, recently the last day or 2 im finding it hard to get the car into gear while driving.

theres no crunching or noise when i get it into gear so im hoping its not the gearbox but im no mechanic so I don't know to be honest, when the car is turned of it slides into gear perfect.. its only when im driving when the car is on?

does anyone have an idea of whats wrong? it happened really out of the blue, was having no problems with clutch or gearbox up until 2 days ago...

clutch isn't slipping either if that makes a difference...

I'm not a expert on these but is it possible the clutch cable has stretched?

had an Avensis which used to do this in cold weather when the car wasn't warmed up. After that it was fine. All it needed was new gearbox fluid

Hydraulic clutch in these so the cable won't have stretched.

Check the fluid level in the reservoir for the clutch.

Check the fluid in the gearbox and look for any leaks.

ye i will do in the morning mate, i was going to get it serviced this week anyway would they include a clutch and gearbox check in this by anychance?
