In fairness, Savage couldnt give a f**k.

Maybe Paullys real problem is he knows the club he supports will never have a player of Suarez quality. Jealousy is a funny thing!

Robbie Savage would tell you differently.

El Hadji Diouf and Joey Barton ain't exactly world class either.
Funny you never mentioned Nani or Roy Keane in your little list of hated players!

Eh,my point is you don't have to be a great player to be hated.
rarnes1 said if he was **** he wouldn't be hated.

Diouf spat on fans and joey barton was jailed for assault. How can you compare suarez to these two.

    You left out Savage.

My point is its not to do with their ability that they are hated.

Maybe Suarez is hated because he bit a player in a match playing for Ajax, or stopped Ghana by cheating in the world cup quarter final? Add them to the fact that he is a great player and moans a fair bit on the pitch, I can see plenty of reasons why people would hate him.

I like him personally, probably because he plays for Liverpool. But don't be fooled into thinking he is hated because he is such a good player, or because other teams fans are jealous, that would make no sense.

Of course not, but if was a terrible player no-one would bother as much with him.

    Anyway, who cares? :)

I have to disagree with this, if he stoped ghana by cheating he would have got away with the handball and their would have being no pen and he wouldnt have being sent off, how is it cheating when you dont get away with it.

Seems crazy to me that he hasn't got a call up yet. He's been our standout performer this year, with performances ranging from solid to excellent.

Pace, Strength, composure, an eye for a pass, a willingness to get forward, a decent cross. He has everything you would want in a left back.

It's funny cos it's probably the only area Spain are lacking in quality. I live with a Spaniard who knows his football (in Spain at least) and when I asked him and his friend why Enrique wasn't getting a look in they responded with blank faces and asked 'Who?' They hadn't even heard of him!

Surely the Spanish national team must have scouts watching him and it's only a matter of time before he's called up?

Okay fair point, cheating maybe not the correct word, but extreme unsporting behaviour. I don't really care on the matter who hates or doesn't hate him, so don't particularly want to get into a debate.

It adds to it alright but generally people that play-act and go down easily will be hated regardless of how good they are,add to that the worldcup incident(I've no problem with that) and biting incident(that's why you can compare him with Diouf and Barton) and then you have to see why.

or stopped Ghana by cheating in the world cup quarter final?

Cheating by its nature is underhand and meant to deceive. Suarez's handball wasn't cheating, as it was blatant. It was essentially a professional foul. Diving is cheating, as its intended to deceive, as was Maradona's goal in 86, but Suarez handled the ball was not not meant to deceive. He committed a foul and was happy to face the consequences

I would hope that any Liverpool player would do the same if required.

I dunno about that. They might use that 20 MILLION your lot paid for JORDAN HENDERSON to purchase a player of similar traits.

Dont forget Keane the delibarate leg breaker in that list of hated players! Not to mention him abandoning Ireland at the World cup. Charming guy really.

As good a reason as any for many of the regulars to not bother posting until there is some new LFC news to discuss or at least until a less petty run of topics starts.

Yes but there really seems to be strong hatred out there, diouf and barton were guilty of goading oppisiton fans, suarez has never done this, im trying to think of a crap player that goes down easy and are hated this much and i can't think of any.

How many footballing superpowers are currently looking for a manager? The man also wants to get a job in England where his family are based. He's right to wait on the right offer to come around, and a manager of his ability will eventually get it.

No big clubs will touch him because of his inability to work with anybody and the blame games he'll constantly play to divert from his own shortcomings - he's got a superb track record of falling out with everybody at his last three clubs and blaming everybody else for anything that goes wrong.

His footballing philosophy is mental too.

lamp in your honest opinion who was liverpools best manager since kennys 1st stint in charge?

He was brilliant at brainwashing fans via the media.

For Fuck sake, he is the only reason Liverpool Football Club is still in existance.

He was the first man to let the fans know want H&G were upto. Which snowballed into the campaign to get rid of them.

If you don't want to believe that and think i'm posting shite fine, but give it up with your childish digs.

If you hate him fair enough. For whatever reason i can't understand.

Did anyone ask you for your opinion on Rafa?

Could do worse than a European cup winning coach.
