question lads

in domination in mw2 if you waited for an announcement like "losing B" or whatever before capping a flag ,then it wouldnt be announced that you were capping the flag if you started capping it within a few seconds of the announcement

example

1: announcement : losing b!
2: you start capping c within a few seconds of announcement
3: no anouncement that your capping c

handy tactic

just want to know if its the same in mw3?

No idea but surely the other team would just look at the flag icons and see that C is flashing

they didnt flash in mw2

so they flash in mw3?

The A flag icon flashes lol...its green and flashing then it turns orange between 3:00-3:10

i never noticed it in game after 15 solid days of playing ,still cant see it

maybe pc version dont flash?

Could well be different on PC, never played it. You'd definitely have noticed it on console. The commentarys like 'you're losing C' are generally behind on console too in hectic matches.

yeah they mustn't be flashing on the pc version,i would definitely have noticed

just hope mw3 is the same on pc

I've noticed the stats go a littlefunny after prestiging. Your average kills are way off, lol. It takes your Overall Kills and divides them by games played, not your current prestiges kills.

Average Kills : 3568 lmfao!

After a few days of playing I still have mixed impressions. I think its better than Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops, but it is still not as good as Cod 4 or World at War.

The maps are too small, in Domination you are constantly losing flags, this is because the flags are too close. This also affects the spawns, yesterday I was killed twice in the same killcam, this never happened me once in Black Ops.

The shotguns really need a buff, I think anyone that uses shotguns will agree with me.

I really like kill confirmed, I find myself playing that more than Domination.

The mp5 is probably my favorite gun in the game so far, but I'm only level 55. A few people are saying that the Type 95 is over powered, but I never seem to do too well with it.

I don't know about all the shotguns but the Stryker and the aa12 are grand I think. People don't expect to get rushed by somebody with a shotgun

I like the type 95 but it is def better at long distances. I go with the mp7 as my close quarters with it.

Some of the spawns are crap but I thought mw2s were worse.

The AA12 works well for me, obviously you need to know when to switch to your secondary for longer ranges. I like using akimbo MP9s with steady aim.

i read somewhere that the spas got patched and it now works properly with proficiencies is that true or does anyone know? and personally im finding the ARs to be pretty bad in this game i much prefer SMGs fav being the pp90m1

The m4 and the cm901 seem to work best for me. Haven't used much else. Haven't got the acr yet but that seems decent when I pick it up. There seems to be downsides to most weapons tho, which I think makes it more interesting. Using most types of weapons my self bar the smokers

when people flash there game or whatever its called, is that when they have the different color d Pad letters next to there name?

also any tips from ranking your gun up from 30 to 31 to get them gold? iv the type 95, m4 and ump5 all on level 30 struggling to get to 31...

Level 31 is over 89,000 XP. You just gotta keep grinding. Double Weapon XP helps, but whether it's worth using a prestige point is up to you. You'll get a couple 10,000 XP's as you get kills and headshots.... so just keep at it.

EDIT: Nvm, just got an email there...... took there bloody time about it.

The Elite App looks good yes, but does nothing as of yet. Still a heap of crap at the moment.

Yep it's coming up I'm a founder then it does it little mad thing when it crashes and has to relog again

I got the green founder symbol and a new Winter gun camo for everything, new emblem and callsign too and the double xp kicked in, suppose it only took a week... Elite is still crap though it keeps getting error in connection, stupid by activision to not be prepared for a massive surge in it.

it's such a relief to hear that I'm not the only one who can't log into COD Elite. Delighted I haven't paid for the service. Might consider it when they have all the problems sorted out and the new maps start coming.

Does anyone know how they are being released. Will it be eight maps altogether; one each month for Elite subs and then two big releases of four maps for everyone else??

have to say I'm loving the type 95, however I'm not sure if it cause of the gun itself of that I'm actually using and loving the mp9 as my secondary weapon with it.

Started off loving the type 95 but i have abandoned everything else in the hope of getting the damage proficiency on the spas and the model 1887. It will be a long and arduous journey but hopefully it will be worth the work

I've gotten founder status symbol and elite works about 90% of the time for me but still haven't got the camo emblem or title and no activation email did you register from your browser?
