you're in a massive firefight in front of the Eiffel Tower and pinned down, so a sh1tload of air support is called in to level the place and the whole tower falls over a youre fighting under it, amazing moment

Fully agree! that scene was epic and his speech too!

    loved when
    Price
appears on the roof when you're competely outnumbered and just goes
"I brought some friends" and all the resistance pop up, class moment.

This is rivalling COD4 as far as the SP goes, some absolutely brilliant moments.

I now feel like I majorly missed out by playing the SP while drunk, I'll have to take another go at it when sober. I have forgotten most of the bits mentioned until you mention them.

I have played near four hours on it. I like the game, I really do. It is a good refined MW3.

However I am disappointed in the little things. They have really dropped some of the better aspects of Black Ops that too me really stood out. The main thing is the party system that Black Ops had (one of the few things CoD did not lift from another game) where you see in game your party and party chat acted as game chat. Why this excellent integration was dropped is beyond me. A great feature that I really miss.

Also I find myself playing and getting a real Homefront vibe. I only played a few hours of their beta, but it just seems that some aspects of the game: how the barret feels, the CM901, the two drones, hell I even call the Reaper the Hellfire.

I really love the Support Strike Package with Hardline Pro. Sometimes I put on just UAV and CUAV and just spam the clouds with those planes. The Jugg is fun, does anyone know if there can be two on the field at once?

Yeah, I saw an enemy and a friendly Juggernaut at the same time, not sure if you can only have one per team
Yeah you can have two at once, myself and some random both had jugg on domination yesterday, made bits of the other team.

not really a spoiler but still
that is how you end a campaign, quality!

I like how absolutely no-one on the other team steals your care package now. Those trapped packages seem to get everyone once and never again.

Kill Confirmed is really the best thing about the game for me still, bloody annoying how people will just sit back and snipe without collecting their tags though.

Yeah but that's a good team tactic aswell though, having one or two snipers at the back and a few tag collectors at the front.

For all the talk about this being an arcade fps, I think they have definitely encouraged players to work more as a team in this game than previous incarnations of the series.

    Agreed.
All the more reason to fire up Black Ops from time to time ;)

Jesus Christ, you're missing the point!

It's one thing to compare games, it's another to constantly complain "Well this is not like this other game I play"

Saying one game is better, and then saying why the other one is flawed is stupid when they are both totally different game types

And I didn't say he couldn't talk about games, I was merely pointing out that people in the CoD forum DO talk about other games, we don't go over to other forums saying this is better, that is better!

Gotta laugh tbh. It really is BF fans who come on here regularly to slate the game while getting all excitable and claiming BF is near if not perfect.

There are flaws in BF3 but I nor many from here post there slating their game continually and say this is better in COD, that is better, etc on the BF forum. For the all the claims about BF fans being far more mature.. on here at least... couldn't be further from the truth :)
Mixed opinions on multiplayer is all I'll say for now.

Enjoyed it a lot more on day 2 than day 1. Took some time but went lone-wolf, got my eye in and top scored 10 or so games in a row easily then took that to proper Kill Confirmed.

Shame about the lag especially when it comes to Spec Ops though. When it runs smooth, it's great. Yesterday was pretty horrible, so laggy. That will improve over time when servers aren't being pushing to their max of course.

I still think Assassin will dominate this game in the long run, this and the spawn system are my worries tbh. Spawn system is far worse than in any other COD game I've played(so everyone but WaW). BUT, the fact that it isn't Treyarch who developed the game and IW and co, it's getting a free pass by some... and some being some of the biggest critics of Treyarch and Black Ops ;)

BF is a great game, beautiful in fact... But it's a different game!

It has no relevance that they are both 1st person shooters, they are developed for completely different target audiences!

Everyone knows that CSS is the best FPS anyway :D

people seem to be complaining theres not enough spawn traps and choke points...ehhh, good? keep you on your toes, I can play MW2 with my eyes closed now its so familiar, everyone runs to particular areas on maps ALL the time. that will happen as well with MW3, remember the game is out 3 days, people dont know the layouts enough yet, compared to COD4 and MW2 where when you play enough you know every inch and sightline of every map and can change your tactics accordingly.
give it a few weeks play and the headless chicken aspect will settle down and there'll be more well know routes around maps. right now everyones just running around getting the layouts, theres still some maps I havent even played a game on, had to go into a private game to see what that freeway map was like as it hadnt come up in the rotaiton yet.
