buying US dollars today???

    i am going to florida in the first week in january.
    i see the dollar has soared today due to the italian crisis.
    is today the best time to buy US dollars as a result?

    The Euro needs to go back above 1.40, wait until there's a new Government in Greece and hopefully Italy, that might bring some sense back into the markets and the Euro should go up a bit.

    I'm watching as well, going to NYC in two weeks.

    Looking to buy dollars for trip to the states next month but I see the exchange rate is falling again.
    Any suggestions whether to buy dollars now for fear it will drop futher or wait for the rate to rise again???
