A 19st rugby player suffered a stroke while training - and discovered when he woke up that he was gay.

Chris Birch, 26, had proposed to his girlfriend and worked in a bank when he suffered a freak accident in the gym.

The rugby-loving Welshman was trying to impress his friends with a back flip but broke his neck and suffered a stroke.

I dont get why they keep mentioning his size and the fact that he worked in a bank, probably because that's 'normal' unlike being a flakey gay hairdresser.

Shocker brain injury casue people to be different!

Really not a surprise. The worst one is that some brain injuries casue people to lack empathy or basic human connections. Saw a guy on TV who had a minor car accident and then simply didn't care about other people. That included his wife and kids. Just wasn't bothered if they were alive or dead. Apparently it is a common injury due to the shape of the brain cavity.

A guy I went to school had an accident that put him in a coma for a month. Afterwards his personality was completley different. Didn't like either of them but his friends were a bit miffed.

To me it always proved the notion of a soul as nonsciences if a bang on the head can make you a different person.
