bank of ireland crossed cheque

    hi i dont have an account in the bank of ireland. just wondering if i brought a crossed cheque from the bank of ireland into the branch it was issued from could i cash it

    Depends on crossing.

    If it's "account payee only" then no, unless the person issuing it remove the crossing.

    What crossing is on it.

    it doesnt say account payee only it just has two blue lines on it

    That's a called a general crossing.

    Depends on tellers knowledge but it can be cashed.
