Aer Lingus seat booking??

Hi all, Just booked a flight to gay Paris on aer lingus. However they seem to want to know where I'd like to sit but want at least €5 for the priveledge. I could care less where I sit. Should I just ignore this and sit where ever I get a chance when I get there?

Just check in online from 30 hours to 2 hours before your flight and you can pick your own seat for no charge.

Ignore it, you'll be assigned your seat when you check in. Waste of money unless you have a favorite seat
