Hardcore mode is gay Ade.. I find that its just full of people camping waiting for an easy one shot kill!! never really liked it.. SnD is great love that.. really gets the heart going but hardcore.. no no no!! serious campfest!

Gonna disagree with you big time mate. People have bad first impressions and stereotype that hardcore is one big camp fest but it really isn't. I actually rush that bit more in HSnD infact. I find regular SnD to be tediously slower in comparison.

Hardcore TDM (COD4 only) and SnD was excellent for the most part in COD4 and BOPS in my experience, of course there are campers but you get that in every game type. But I didn't see the amount of campers people claim to be tbh. I really didn't.

MW2, I avoided SnD in general as said before so really cannot comment. I did play that hardcore mosh playlist they did and that was so much fun especially playing Hardcore Sabotage, a game type I crave for :D

I used to think the same about hardcore but I love it now, put on a lightweight class with marathon and you'll wreck the other team as they're not expecting it, lack of high killstreaks as well, most people run 3/4/5 so you rarely see anything higher than a harrier, and since most people run cold blooded since you dont need stopping power air support is mostly useless.

Indeed! Just rush and watch the kills flow.

Oh so its when people just play the game unfairly for easy XP, I thought it was something nerdy-er.

basically, to get their precious emblemz and gun camos. I got called a hacker for using Fall camo on my RPD by some kid, I didnt boost for it I got by using it constantly and obliterating people in Demolition with it :D grip and extended mags= beast mode engaged.

So.. you think it would be easier to run around quick scoping than with an SMG ? Really ? :P Even with all the whinging about quickscoping in MW2, sniping was still one of the weakest guns.. you were never going to get the same amount of kills as you would with a SMG/AR etc and your ability to be a good team player is reduced a lot.

People always look at these videos on youtube and all of a sudden they think its easy to just run around beasting like they do in the videos (Not just sniping, people ALWAYS say it when they watch a sandy ravage film for example, oh and thats a sniper lobby by the looks of it). Im not in the least bit worried about sniping being as easy or easier than MW2, because if im not sniping and come up against people that are... 99% of the time its a free kill and win.

This. The sniper rifles have been the weakest guns in every cod game since cod4. It is far harder to quick scope than run around with an smg.

hope so, pretending to want to boost then wrecking the other guys head was hilarious :D
    "ok put your tac down"
*puts tac down, lets other get a kill, then pulls out a c4 and kills both of us, spends rest of match dicking around with a riot shield before other guy ragequits* :pac:

I don't get the obsession with camo's and emblemz, it's just a nicer looking gun I'm picking up after I've killed you and a shinier emblem that pops up on my killfeed :p

Let the quickscopers back if they want, easy pickings.

Have you seen a real soldier dropshot?
If a soldier is behind a car and only the very top of his head is stick out can he have perfect vision and be able to shoot his gun perfectly?
Do real soldiers get aim assist?

    NO.

Cod is not realistic, never has been, never will.

It is a known fact though that marine soldiers can only sprint for 5 seconds. Unless of course ,they have taken the 'Marathon Pro' training course in boot camp

Anytime I played HC I just found people sat in corner waiting.. especially my own team mates and it infuriated me coz the game doesnt have any fluidity that way!
If I see one of my ghosty/CB teamates sitting in the corner of a room I just "randomly" throw a grenade into the room and oops, accidentally kill my team mate (a kuntish thing to do I know)! but this imo goes for any game mode.

I dont like tdm anyway (prefer objective based games) so HC doesnt make a difference to me there! I love SnD but HC I always found to be a joke!

I get what ye are saying thou and tbh, I just think my opinion of HC is tainted.. If I'm being honest I only ever played a few games of it on a few different occasions and just found it too frustrating! I never played any HC game and thought that was amazing!

I just hope MW3 has the moshpit option again!! loved that!!

i think what he was saying was that snipers are not really snipers anymore, snipers are the soldier that sits back and picks off people from a long distance( basically camp), but in cod snipers are running around like they have ADD and jumping of buildings, changing equipment and doing no scopes.

i can see this game getting an awful time this time next week.

for me i dont mind quick scopes even though its a bit stupid on infinty wards behalf of not correcting this.

as long as mw3 focus's on the actual gun battles like cod4 il be happy, if there's 2 or 3 harriers and choppers in the air at once im trading it straight back in and sticking to blops because it actually reflects the skill of a player having to earn your kills.

hopefully the kills you get from your harrier etc wont count towards your actual longest killstreak, in blops you had to go out and kill 20 people in a row to earn a 20 killstreak in mw2 you just sat in a corner and let your harrier or chopper gunner do it for you, it was beyond stupid.

I have a feeling the majority of players will run the support killstreaks meaning less choppers and stuff buzzing around. Even the worst players can manage 15 kills in a game for a juggernaut suit

the vid posted a few pages back has a guy run juggernaut and he has a riot shield and pistols, not exactly wrecking the other team he didnt even get a kill, is there different juggernauts? I think one is support and one is assault, the support one seems more of a distraction, hang around a flag or bomb site and act as a target.

It looked crap IMO like you said, not even a kill

Tbh I dont know. The only info I get is from these forums but i'm assuming since its easier to obtain than the assault alot of people will

Yeah, check out Magpul dynamics art of the tactical carbine.
In it they teach economics of motion and shotting, moving and reload drills.
Specifically they teach the supine position so if for instance your behind a car and cannot get clear target acquisition on someone then the best thing to do is go supine and take your shot from under the car.

Skip to 58 seconds in for this......

Im not advocating drop shotting- imo its cheap like camping qucikscoping mlc and oma tubing but at least it is a verifiable tactic in real life situations.

That's not a drop-shot in the cod sense though is it? Also how do you consider drop-shotting to be cheap?! Pretty standard part of the game and in no way comparable to grenade launchers lol

Its just my opinion mate, I think drop shotting in mw2 was nerfed in black ops for a reason the developers obviously thought so too.

Nade launchers used respectfully arent my main gripe, dont get me wrong I would remove them completely if I had a choice but spamming them with OMA is just being a dick so I agree on that. :)

Looking forward to this quite a bit now, after playing BF3 for a week straight its already boring me to tears - that and it too has its fair share of broken game mechanics. Roll on tuesday! Dont think I'll be leaving my place at 1200am for a game tbh, sexy time with the missus or a video game? Hmmmmmm..... yeah, Im still straight so video games can wait for a night :D

I'd rather be drop shotted than panic knifed, which is why I love people who use tactical. At least you can pretend they have slightly faster reflexes so got to ground to shoot me rather than me surprising them and knifed for my efforts.
