Does this name translate to Longford, or were there other surnames it was used for too? Clutching at straws here trying to find a birth record for my husbands grandmother and came across one, right year, month, first name, middle initial! So I'm wondering was it used for other surnames too..

Yeah thats the one! I was searching using just Lon* to see if there were any other variations of Lonergan and that came up minus the english translation!!
