I have the Topaz card and almost never see a filling station in Dublin that's cheaper than the current Topaz card price. I drive a petrol car so don't bother checking diesel prices.

I drove to Athlone at the weekend and used the old N6, I spotted one station somewhere in rural Westmeath which was cheaper than the current Topaz petrol price which is 146.88.

The documentation that you get from Topaz with the card specifically tells you that if the pump price is lower than the current card price then you should settle with cash or plastic and not use the card so your use of the word 'warning' in the thread title is a bit OTT given that Topaz themselves point out that you may find fuel cheaper than the current card price.

You're not telling us anything that Topaz themselves don't tell their customers.
