M3 Parkway, Navan Road Parkway and now Western Parkway

Is it only me that overhears these conversations. Going through Navan Road Parkway station, one of two middle aged ladies opposite me begs the question "M3 Parkway, Navan Road Parkway... so where's the Western Parkway?" to be told by the other "Maybe it's on the Kildare line"

I've read the arguments about "Parkway" being used in the UK. But that's another country. The first time I encountered it was indeed in the Western Parkway. A road. Park & Ride has a precedent in various Luas stations, people know what it means. Even P&R makes more sense. I'm guessing there's some UK love connection coming from the IE bigwigs.
