Nat west emergency cash

    Just seen an advert for Nat west that shows if you lose your card you can call & arrange to still get money from an ATM.
    That seems like a brilliant idea- is it something any Irish banks do??

    Ulster Bank do it.

    Go up to a UB ATM and hole down a key.

    I know BOI used to have a version of that for their credit cards whereby you could ring up and they'd send you the cash by western union. I used it when I was in Australia and my wallet got stolen. That was in 2005 though, so I'm not sure has the facility been removed since then.
