easy way to swap numbers from my i phone 4 to my samsunng galaxy 2

just bought the samsung galaxy 2. ive 1500 numbers in my i phone looking for a way to swap them. somebody told me gmail but cant seem to get them from i phone to g mail as its asking for them to be all ready in an email account. what am i doing wrong or is there an easier way

If its not sync'ing to gmail correctly you can always export your iPhone contacts to CSV and then import them directly to either your new phone or gmail. Guide here: http://www.sync-iphone.com/contacts-calendars-email/export-iphone-contacts-to-csv.html
