As someone else mentioned, the exercise ball worked for me. I was 8 days overdue and bounced on the ball for a good half hour and went into labour that evening.

Saying that, it's probably all guff - the baby will come when it's good and ready

Not sure about the sex. If was in my Mothers belly and a f***e kept pokeing me it would go back to the owner with teeth marks on it. Plus the fact that if I came into the world with sperm all over my hair, daddy would get a box in the mouth the first chance that arose. Sounds like the start of a beautiful relationship.:D

Apparently making love , and the female orgasm releases Oxytocin . Anyone who has had a baby induced will remember the Oxytocin drip , and the way they up the dose every couple of hours or whatever

Ha, if nothing happens shes booked in for next thursday...

I have been getting sympathy pains the hole way through. Morning sickness & heartburn.... I've never had heartburn in my life. She cant say i'm not suffering with her

I hope you get the labour pains as well, only messing, all you can do it hold her hand and put up with the tears/abuse she will throw at you.
As soon baby arrives she will love you again.
I know boards will be the last thing on your mind but let us know how it went.

btw I'm sure she knows you are suffering, what with all the complaining etc. wait til the night feeds start.

I used to be a very light sleeper & after the first I now have the abilty to sleep through tornadoes!

Best to be absent so- no pain and all gain...worked for me anyway...

So as it turns out, after blasting with piss, holding the rusk/coffee up to her mooey, currys, walking, rasberry tea, painting (not a suggestion but she tried it)
baby blaze1 just didnt want to come out until today.

Born at 20:58
A healthy 9 pound 2 ounces

So I call shenanigans on old wives tales at this stage and would also like to break another "old wives tale"

Heartburn doesn't mean that the baby will have a mop of hair... The mrs has been in bits with it for half the time and the baby came out with less hair than me and that takes some beating!!

But to add to Black Francis's suggestion we didn't watch Sunshine so he could be on to something
