I like beer, I love stout. I don't drink too much of them though as they're bloating. Vodka or wine mostly for me.

That's total rubbish. I like a woman who drinks a pint.

I met this girl on Monday
took her for a drink on Tuesday
we were drinking more by Wednesday
and on Thursday & Friday & Saturday
we had more chilled beer on Sunday

Beer is probably the drink that gets me the drunkest! 3 pints and I'm gone usually! I do drink it, and I like it. Maybe drink wine a bit more often though, I have a bit of a sweet tooth.

A few years ago I was taking Japanese lessons, and after the last lesson for the year we all hit the pub, of course. We got to see a little Japanese lady, about eight months pregnant, sinking a pint of Smithwicks ...

(no, before you ask: one pint at that stage of pregnancy is not harmful. She had checked beforehand.)

I've only recently noticed how silly some people are about what they're 'allowed' to drink. I drink what I want and I can't believe some women won't drink pints because 'they're for men'. I love beer, I drink it all the time, especially the strong Belgian beers like Duvel. The only reason I'm planning to cut back is that it's not doing my gluten intolerance any good. It's difficult trying to find a replacement drink though. Anything acidic as a mixer (orange juice or Coke) wrecks my teeth, more than a couple of glasses of wine turns me into a drunken mess, gin and tonic, I drink too fast. I'll miss beer.

I'd drink beer but I have a poor tolerance for it, be like I have some kind of allergy to it. I cannot stand the taste of it, its a bit bland and rotten. Though if sweetened I wouldn't mind drinking it. Coors light is the only beer I can actually tolerate without being ill after a sip. If I can't actually taste the beer in it, I might be able to drink it but doesn't go down well with me whether its the first drink or a drink later on having had other drinks that I be mixing so either way my body doesn't seem to tolerate beer for some reason!

Though I prefer cider to beer really. If I were to drink Coors light I tend to add 7 up to sweeten it and to almost make it taste like cider. So other than that I don't really drink beer for reasons mentioned above, I'd love to be able to drink it but I just can't while I could drink most other alcoholic beverages under the sun! I have tried to drink beer but many failed attempts, feel ill after each one except coors light and a sweetened brewed foreign one. Have tasted many beers and results haven't been great one sip and it down the sink!

So basically I have a beer intolerance!

Mainly the aul' beer belly, I'd say. And the very unladylike gassiness.

Personally, I love Guinness; but it takes me a long time to make my way through a whole pint, and a half pint is poor value. And I come from the country, out there - people think you're some kind of crazy heathen lunatic if you dare order Guinness.

When I lived in Ireland, I only drank pints of Smithwicks. When I lived in England, pints of ale and now I drink crappy Spanish beer as I've no other choice. Developed a taste for it though and it's alright cold and in small quantities.

Loved Guinness 'till I found out they put fish lips (or something equally hideous) into it.

All in all, I love beers and know a good beer from a crappy one.

Red wine and beer, that's all I drink generally.

Perhaps when the OP is eventually old enough to visit a licensed establishment, they will see the stupidity in making such a generalisation.

Cider? Though that's fairly acidic, I suppose.
