Wait for it now!!! Dublin is flooded, there will be total outrage!!

When the whole country except Dublin was flooded last year and half my town was living in hotels, hardly a word about it!!

No floods here ha ha ha!!!

There's a Micra stuck in the bus lane of the N4, on Chapelizod Bypass.

Part of me is hoping they were trying to undertake the 2 normal queues of traffic in the bus lane, and they ploughed into the deep water.

Hazard lights were left on, but I think it was abandoned.

    Woah that pictrure is something!

Should this not be in the Dublin forum, most of the country do not have floods so why should we care about this.

My sister is in Fairview & the water is a foot high. Came gushing in the front door when she opened it:( Rubbish now floating on the swimming pool that was the garden. Neighbours out with shovels frantically trying to clear drains etc. She's had to move her car twice in the past hour.

Half of the threads on After hours could be categorised into differant forums . .

People outside of the big smoke seem to get very animated about anything Dublin related . .

The bad weather isn't limited to Dublin.
    Why the whining?

In fairness, as I highlighted in an earlier post - there is traffic leaving Dublin which is being very badly effected by the floods.

But Mods by all mean's move it over to us, but if the mocking can be kept to a minimun the thread might benefit those country people travelling to and from Dublin.

The outside of my house represents a waterfall from water flooding down from the roof... I have to go outside to retrieve my bag, but I fear that if I dare it will be at my peril, all in the name of an english essay due tomorrow

Is that the Romanticism essay or the 20th Century Drama essay?

Yes, this car passed me while it was in the bus lane queue skipping. Just deserts, I think.
