Recycling bags in rain??

I am meant to put out my recycling bags(live in city centre) but it is LASHING rain, two weeks ago we put them out according to the calendar they sent us and they weren't picked up so we had to bring them back in.( I emailed and got no reply, also we followed all the recycling rules so I cannot understand why they weren't…

If we put them out tonight and they're not picked up in the morning we can't bring them in because they will be sodden and we have a month's worth of recycling!

What should I do?

Hard luck. You might want to use them to block your doorway if the flood reaches you.

They weren't collected, again. Oh my GOD this is infuriating.
