How long does it take to recieve card from Sky?

    I went into Kilroy's in Athlone to order SkyDigital last Tuesday and I still have not had the card through the door. How exactly does it work? I think it should be 4-5 days once I get the card and do whatever with it. I hope its soon as Chorus is being taken out today.

    Last Christmas when mine arrived, it was within 7 days of signing up (A Friday) My local TV shop said they did'nt ring it in til Sunday (when its quiet) and I recieved the card on the Thursday. The Dish was installed on the Wednesday, the day before! So a very quick turnaround which I was very happy with! smile.gif

    When do they contact you re the installation? And who contacts you - Sky or the shop?

    You should normally receive your sky card within 3 to 5 days. Contact your retailer and ask him to re order although if a new card is ordered the old one becomes useless if it arrives in the meantime.

    it took just under two weeks for ours to arrive. Once you get it ring up the retailer and arrange installation.

    I'm sorted now. I was confused because I thought that the card in question was some sort of acknowledgement card, not the Sky Viewing Card.

    It arrived in the post yesterday, so I've rung Kilroy's and I should hear from the installer soon. I wonder if he'll install on a Saturday fo me.
