Someday Slick, someone will spot you on a train or a bus logged in to boards, with your united jersey on...

    Give it time :P

Not trying to take away from City's win but a small reality check here. Had Smalling scored from that header in the 86th minute it wouldn't have been out of the question for United to get a point from the game. The last seven or eight minutes of that game were totally freakish.

    Just saying is all....

Or if the ref had have given the absolute stonewall peno against Anderson, the demolition would have started earlier & City would have gotten into double figures.

    Who knows.

    How's the dog?

Bit like Silva and the Utd defence ,couldn't get near or catch the little f**ker :)

    an unbelievable game.
for the simple reason that there is nobody better at putting away the shítter teams in the League. what would worry me is their ability to really control games against the better teams.

This result might give a few of the smaller teams a little more belief that they can actually get a result against United. To me it seems that some of the smaller teams seem scared of united and just play to keep the score down or even just to sneak a draw

It's frustrating the way English players never get called on it in the media that is so quick to vilify the likes of Suarez, Ngog, Nani etc for the often milder offence of going down easy under actual fouls.
You might get a dive out of Rooney,Young or Downing 2 or 3 times a season.
With the likes of Suarez it's 2 or 3 times a game.

It is a foreign thing that has crept into the premier league over the years.

Selling John o'Shea was an obvious mistake

See, this is the absolute bull**** I'm talking about.

I can't think of a Suarez 'dive' this season.

Times where he was dramatic about a foul-yes, loads.

Diving when there was no contact? Like Young, Rooney, Downing?
    Hasn't happened yet.

I'd appreciate if you could cite specific examples if you think I'm wrong.

Two tough tackling midfielders in the centre and two up top against a top class side. I was having flashbacks to the Ireland/Russia match when I saw that line-up and unfortunately United had no Dunne or Given to save the day.

    Calamitastrophuck of a performance.

Its still a dive if the contact isn't enough to launch yourself into the air and roll around like you were shot.
Simulation or diving is all the same to me.

Anything to take the thread away from the fact that United were absolutely dire today.

There was contact in that tackle. It can be argued it wasn't a red card but there was definite contact so to call it a dive in the same vein as Young's today is a bit much.

You'll have to find another I'm afraid.

While i agree it was the wrong decision to send off Rodwell & that it was not even a foul really, it definitely wasn't a dive. Rodwell's right leg caught Suarez's right ankle.

    You can see the ankle bent over in this pic;

So other examples? or do you want to retract your laughter at my entirely correct observation and perhaps admit that you yourself have 'fallen for' the xenophobic bull**** medias ****e talk?
