Terry statement just on SSN. He says he responded to an accusation that he called Ferdinand a black **** with ''I didn't call you a black cnut''. Says it was just a bit of confusion, that he's sorted it out with Ferdinand now

Not like John Terry to lie

Here's a screen capture from his press conference:

Having watched the video a few times now, I'm almost certain he said "you fucking black cunt". But then having watched it a further few times, it does seem like "blind"

    So I don't know.

    Who gives a fúck really.

He was obviously calling him a "Black Cat" in reference to Ferdinand's time at Sunderland

John Terry has categorically denied making a racist slur against Anton Ferdinand during Chelsea's West London derby defeat at QPR.
Videos have circulated on the internet in the aftermath of Sunday's Premier League match at Loftus Road, with some claiming the footage shows Bluesspacer.gif captain Terryspacer.gif insulting Rangersspacer.gif defender Ferdinandspacer.gif using racist language.
But Terry said tonight in a statement issued to Press Association Sport: "I've seen that there's a lot of comments on the internet with regards to some video footage of me in today's game.
"I'm disappointed that people have leapt to the wrong conclusions about the context of what I was seen to be saying to Anton Ferdinand.
"I thought Anton was accusing me of using a racist slur against him. I responded aggressively, saying that I never used that term.
"I would never say such a thing, and I'm saddened that people would think so.
"I have known Anton for a long time and spoke to him about it after the game and there was no problem between us.
"I congratulated him on their win. He has not accused me of any wrongful remark.
"It was clear it was all a misunderstanding at the time.
"After the result today, I am saddened to be dealing with these wrongful allegations.
"I am the proud captain of one of the most internationally diverse teams in the Premier League and I absolutely believe that there is no place for racism in sport and indeed in any walk of life."
QPR declined to comment when contacted on Sunday night.

Because if JT knows you for a long time, he'll treat you right and not do you wrong, ain't that right Wayne?

Terry is being investigated by the Met after a member of the public made a complaint.

It's all part of the same investigation. John Terry is also being blamed for the weather......all of it......everywhere.

This will come to nothing, Terry isn't the racist sort.

Relax pal, it was a light-hearted comment at the previous world has it in for Terry type comments.

You're right though it has nothing to do with the incident in hand nor does Terry's previous with Bridge's gf but you seemed to think mentioning that was ok??

At first I thought there was nothing in it and that he did say ''blind'' rather than ''black''. However, Terry himself has admitted he said it, the only thing he's denying is the context in which the word was used. Terry claims he said it in denial so for example ''I didn't call you a black cunt''.

You've got to laugh at Villas-Boas claiming that people should believe the words of someone who represents their country. Footballers have proven themselves to be so trustworthy, haven't they? So we should also trust the likes of Carroll, Cole, Rooney, Crouch etc - all of whom are either adulterers or have criminal convictions, some even both. There's many more who have super-injunctions out at present too.

Hopefully Anton pursues this, Terry has had one case of racist abuse swept under the carpet already but there's many people that know exactly what went on there.

The FA have a duty to ban Terry or else it makes a mockery of the Show Racism the Red Card campaign along with many other initiatives that have been used to help clear racism in our game.

If it was a member of the crowd who had racially abused someone they've be convicted without question. I'd also suggest that if it had been a foreign player rather than an England player that the FA would have him banned already.

Sadly, because this is John ''England Captain'' Terry the only place I can see this going is:

Well the context that Terry's trying to put it in just doesn't seem believable to me.

AVB's comments regarding Terry on the BBC website
However, Villas-Boas backed the England captain saying: "John is a player who [represents] this country to the highest level internationally. He is a player of great responsibilities.

"I find it strange when people don't trust the words of a representative from your country.

I think he should wikipedia John Terry

His excuse sounds plausible to me. I believe JT.

Usually I like your posts and always give time to to read them , but this utter rubbish.

The Anti Terry bandwagon is in full flow.

Firstly he plays in a team made up of all different races , dare I say we would be up there with Arsenal for the mixture of races we have in the squad and there has never been an issue of this type before with any of his own players.

Secondly Ashley Cole was stood beside him when , you are hardly going to be throwing that type of abuse around with one of your own colored team mates stood beside you.

Thirdly , the issue was raised by someone on the internet and not the player himself .

You are being Judge and Jury in this case , when he is cleared I wonder will you come back and apologize ?

If he is found guilty of the offense , he should be shown the door from the club .

I honestly dont think he is guilty , I know he is not the brightest but in the wake of the Evra storm I cant see him coming out and being that stupid.

It all completely hangs in the hands of Ferdinand, if he says he was abused then the TV evidence supports that.

If he did say it I would fully expect there is behind the scenes mediation to try sweep it under the carpet, the last thing the FA would allow happen is the England Captain being charged for Racist abuse. Might even see some less obvious punishment a few months down the line.

How Terry can command the respect of anyone on or off a football field amazes me.

Shearer got away lightly for kicking Neil Lennon in the head because he was England Captain. David Davis admitted as much in his book

Regarding Ferdinand, why is he yet to comment on it?

Why didnt he say it to the Ref straight away if he had been abused ?

He was stood there beside them.
