So can we discuss the game in here or is it just for people to post ridiculous jokes and United fans to get even further wound up?

It's six of one and half a dozen of the other.

Who ever thought a team carrying such passengers as Silva, Aguero & Kompany could beat a team with the class of Anderson, Evra & Evans...?!

Whatever about Evans performance it's ridicilous that not one UTD supporter has mentioned Patrice Evra.

He was a disgrace today and lacked commitment and seemed not to be arsed .
All I seen him do all game was ask the ref one two occasions to get out the cards .... and am I right he was captain ???

    Baffled.com

patrice evra has been ****e since his fiasco at the world cup, it broke him by the looks, he has never been the same since

You know what, with Evra's record as a professional that wouldn't overly surprise me.

Still in a state of shock  but cant say im surprised with the loss.
Man City are a quality team with serious players and they were bound to punish us when down to 10 men.
Regards Evans, i have never been a fan and that got worse after the West Ham cup game last year when i would have defended better so the sooner he is shipped out the better. Why oh why did they get rid of JOS :(

Ferdinand needs to take his finger out of his whole, he is having a few shockers and Evra keeps up his usual defensive display of brutal!!! although Anderson & Young were at fault for the second goal by not tracking there man.

All the pressure will now be on City as they will be massive favourites for the league so all we can do is win our games and keep the pressure on a team who have never done it before.

Silva is just ridick to watch, special player.

    Come on United

you mean never doing such a thing before and actually receiving a ban two years ago for being on the receiving end of racist abuse? (which he didnt even report btw, mike phelan did)

next, he'll be getting stick for being "uppity"

At least criticism that he has been utter ****e since the 2010 world cup has a basis to it

I came on here last week and stated that Rio was finished for utd. I got my head taken off.

We have seen yet again today that he is finished. No pace and no guts.

Centre mid again shown up in a big game. Fletcher not good enough. Said it before and will say it again. How fergie things we can compete without a decent holding player is beyond me. Anderson not a holding player.

Too many passengers on this team that have been protected long enough.

The refusual to see we need to move on from Rio and fletcher on here is mind blowing .

I think the MLS is calling louder and louder for Ferdinand. He'll be playing there this time next year.

Fletcher was actually one of the few players on the United team that played...not necessarily well, but with a bit of heart. Welbeck, Andeson, Evra, Ferdinand, Evans, Smalling and even Jones when he came on, were bad. Didn't care. Nani and Young hadn't much conviction about them either. Rooney wasn't great either but Fletcher was the only one that I saw giving a s**t.

    EDIT: Aside from De Gea.

Down to ten men, with a poor midfield, this is what money gets you some real quality in that city side.

Yeah, coz that United side was put together on buttons.

No, mainly due to the fact that he has no idea how to act like a professional. He disgusts me as a player tbqh.
