United have been in and around City's box(giggidy) for most of the game.

Didn't say they hadn't but it means they have to really go for it (eventually). Easy to retain possession and fart about not creating any real chances at 0-0, patience will be tested at 0-1 though.

    What was the celebration/booking?

he turned around after scoring and put his jersey over his head, to show the words "why always me?" printed on his under armour/ under jersey thing.

    Welbeck is non-existent so far.

Ballotelli has a second t-shirt under the first one, just in case he scores again..

    Twattenberg.

How dare he follow the rules of the game, what a twat.

Even though I do agree with it being a stupid rule.

He didn't take his top off.

Absolutely, but in the contect of this rule when people take a top completely off or just put it over their head they get a yellow card, I'm sure we can agree it's madness either way.

Players have to take some of the blame too, they know they can't do it, yet they still do so no sympathy from me.

Whats the wording of the rule? Not trying to second guess you but I'd love to know what the letter of the law on this is.

Rooney is one of the best in the world at hitting that long diagonal crossfield ball. Consistently accurate with that pass.

No slogans of any kind can be displayed, hence the yellow card.

Fairly straight forward even if it's a nonsense rule.

Starting Wellbeck over Hernandez was a disgrace.

One of the WB players (think it was Olsson) did the exact same celebration yesterday. It's more the consistency in the application of the rules that pisses me off, even though the rule itself is quite ridiculous.

I could watch Silva all day. Wonderful player.

Not sure of the exact wording, but I have seen a fair number of players booked for what Balotelli did. A quick look on Wikipedia suggests that it's up to the ref whether he wants to book a player for it or not.

Wouldnt say it was a disgrace but it was an odd one. I know Sir Alex likes to show the faith he has in players by actually playing them but the last two games have said to me that Wellbeck might just not be ready for the big games just yet.
