Now take a look at that. A number of holes around the tire itself which makes this story stink even more of a load of self planned bull****.

1) ANY driver would immediately notice something wrong with his steering response with a tire like that. Immediately, not half way down a motorway.

2) There is no chance the tire would have lasted 2 minutes down a road with damage like that. Not to mention they got into the car and drove away and Dana had enough time to fall asleep. There is simply no way (unless you are both blind and deaf and an utterly **** driver) that you would not notice it even 2 minutes into driving.

I think it's another attempt by this person to try and inject some support in to her campaign which has been stone dead from the moment she put her name forward. Please **** off back in to obscurity you patethic waster and in future just don't run for these elections. We don't want to see or hear about you.

If the driver managed to lose control after the blow-out, he couldn't have been a very competent driver, or she was nagging the sh1t out of him at the time, and distracted him.

An AA roadside recovery team were called out and changed the tyre before the team continued their journey to Dublin.

The other presidential nominees should add "tyre changing" to the list of things they can accomplish.

I wonder how long the 4 adults in the car were waiting for the AA man to come out and spend 10 minutes changing a tyre.

I would not like to think any harm was meant other than make a puncture on her car ~ assuming it was sabotage.

It's hard to understand how someone punctured it fifteen times ~ the thing would have been on fire by the time the incident occurred.

She has recounted a sudden pressure lose and violent manoeuvres consistent with a blow-out.

It is conceivable that someone wanted to weaken the sidewall in anticipation of a motorway blow-out ~ but that's very, very hard to actually do as one usually punctures the tyre and the driver would have been getting the characteristic mishandling associated with a deflating tyre ~ but that's not what has been described.

I'd agree with the OP otherwise/.

We as a nation have managed to elect some oddballs down through the years. The biggest two at the moment being Lowry and Ming. Actually close your eyes when Ming is talking and it sounds like an old biddy of 85 complaining about life - exact same voice. He also has the same policies as the average 85 year old woman.

Nice to see the fucking tyre experts are out in force on boards tonight. The majority of the damage visible on the tyre would have been caused after the blowout. It is possible that the yure was interfered with to make a blowout more likely - perhaps scoring the tyres with a blade, which would weaken it.

There is an investigation underway - lets not jump to conclusions before its completed.

By the way I don't get the vitriol levelled against Dana. Is it because she is religious? Well perhaps the same shit should be flung in the direction of Michael D. He's as big a God botherer seeing he's chairman of the Legion of Mary in Galway.
