    Hi all.

I have access to an office worth of computers. 20 or so desktops. I would like to pick your brains for ideas to do something cool with them. Something beyond calculating pi for example. Just something cool to say "hey, that's pretty cool".

And you have explicit permission to run a distributed computing app on them? Your employer doesn't mind the increased heat and electrical consumption?

    If so, consider:

Running LHC beam simualtions for CERN:

    I am the boss :P

I was thinking more along the lines of developing something small myself. The best I can come up with so far is experimenting with the travelling salesman.
