As a live act they were pretty hit and miss back in the day, so be very interesting to see what they sound like now, and if they're going to record new stuff (I'm assuming they'd hardly bother getting back together if they weren't planning to work on some new songs?)

no way, they were class, please stay like that :(

anyway Mani is with PS now

The Stones Roses were alright but they were no Jesus Jones.

They're about the only band that could save Slane for me.

Better bring Cressa back with them though.

    And play Sally Cinnamon.

Love their albums but heard they can be poor live. And you could see how they could be at a festival or something. In the right venue though, they'd have to be brilliant

Cant wait for this, might just head and see them on their "home turf" instead of over here, Irish gigs are ****e as a rule of thumb....

This is just what the world's been waiting for...must have been the hardest thing in the world to get Mani back on board. Good times.

So most bands that play great shows abroad come to Ireland and it all suddenly goes pear-shaped? Bit of a generalisation no?
