LOL at fergie on MOTD just now commenting that 'suarez dives all over the place' .

he aint far wrong there, the lad is a disgrace, ill say no more about him.

first time on boards in 2 days, so im not reading the thread, but happy with the point considering fergie had a brain freeze when picking his team, why put out the reserves when playing the biggest game of the season so far....

some dive from adam to win the free kick, but thankfully cheating didnt win out in the end and i think it was a 50/50 game and a draw was the right result. both teams could have had pens, but i think both were the right calls, as ball to hand is not a peno and its about the only thing the ref done right on the day.

first half was one of the worst ive seen, second half was exciting.

    Reserves?

Probably the strongest back 5 possible. Fletcher, Young and Park weren't completely unexpected starters. I personally thought Giggs would start in midfield. Jones in midfield was hugely unexpected. Welbeck can hardly be called a reserve, he's probably the second choice striker atm.

Strange team? Yes. Reserves? Fúck no.

The amount of sh*te in this thread is unreal.

Utd fans accusing Liverpool of cheating!

As if Utd never had a player dive in their time?

Really diving is a football problem down to the individual player and not endemic at particular clubs. I'm not condoning diving but it's a widespread problem in the sport and no club is immune to it.

Also the hatred for Suarez, just focussing on all the alleged cheating and completely ignoring the good play and skill he brings. Suppose it means he must be doing something right.

I always find it funny that when anybody but United fans point out the likes of Nani diving, its basically highlighting an annoying trait, but when United fans do the same thing with other teams, we are just being hypocritical or picky or something negative. .

Thought he had a decent game in fairness.

I take it with your response you accept you were actually wrong.

Rooney has played the same position for United for the last 2 seasons and nobody suggests that United play a defencive formation. If I were you I would just let this correction go . . You were wrong, united have not gone to Anfield to contain in a long long time before today.

Nope since that game were O'Shea scored the winner United have come to Anfield hoping to nick a win on a set piece

Thats managers for you. Kenny wanted a pen for the Evans incident. Didn't see the Enrique handball though.

Or maybe he just saw the handball from Nani (I think) immediately prior to Enrique's meaning it should have been a free out.

Whats with the rolly eyes? You've been posting complete bull**** all evening and claiming it to be true then refusing to admit it when presented with overwhelming evidence that you're wrong.

    FA to investigate Evra claims

The Football Association has confirmed it will look into a report made to referee Andre Marriner after Saturday's 1-1 draw between Liverpool and Manchester United.

It is believed the investigation will follow claims of racist abuse made by United defender Patrice Evra against Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.

In a statement released late on Saturday, the FA said: "The Football Association has this evening been made aware of an incident that is alleged to have occurred during the Liverpool versus Manchester United fixture at Anfield today.

"Referee Andre Marriner was made aware of an allegation at the end of the fixture and has subsequently reported this to The FA.

"The FA will now begin making enquiries into the matter."

Evra had earlier made the allegation in an interview with French television channel Canal+.

He said: "There are cameras, and you can see him [Suarez] say a certain word to me at least ten times. No place for that in 2011. The referee is aware of what was said."

Your bringing that up again when one of your own players does it when he is playing :pac:

I've accepted that I was mistaken in thinking (along with most Utd fans here) that Evra said the groundskeeper was racist toward him & amended it to Evra was involved in an incident where he was 'allegedly' racially abused where it turned out Utd staff were lying & contradicting eachother in their fabricated statements.

Maybe he didn't, you should ask him when you see him! He was complimentary about De Gea after the match.

The ref was looking directly at him, he didnt have a problem with it!

I find it hard to believe that someone could call some a nagger ten times during a match and for no one to notice with so many cameras and mics around these days. Did any other utd player mention anything about it.

You should have just bowed out when the specific point upon which you based your argument was shown to be invalid. But you just kept digging and tried to muddy the waters further by referencing arguments put forward by people on boards.ie 3 and a half years ago (most of whom probably aren't even here anymore). Fairly lame stuff.

    Amended...

Is that a polite way of saying "I was completely and utterly wrong and tried to make my utterly pathetic attempt to discredit Evra by throwing whatever **** that would stick at him instead"

Strange no Pool fans were crying out for the 35m hitman Andy Carroll to be brought on at any stage in the game..Unusual considering the support he strangely garnishes here. :p

1200+ posts, almost 40000 views and his name wasn't mentioned once regarding the game when he could have came on... :D

One for the future, eh ? lol :pac:

Evra should shut up and concentrate on improving his poor attempts at playing football rather than crying to the fa after matches. what an idiot.

I'm really loving how Suarez is annoying people so much. Spurs fans claiming he couldn't get into their team ahead of their cast off strikers and a certain united reserves supporter talking crap constantly about Liverpool and Suarez, luckily for him he never needs to worry about a player of his quality going near his club.

I dont know what he is alleged to have said and more importantly I dont give a damn, I'm pretty sure I've roared a lot worse at the tv myself during games.

Jaysus, I called for it a few times and a couple on the Superthread.

Some of the crosses going in from Enrique and Downing were crying out for it, he mightn't have scored, but would have created bother.

Weird match, 2 managers obsessed with what the other does. SAF picking Jones and Fletcher in midfield, bringing Rooney on but in a largely ineffective role, yeah headers in the penalty area are great but to me, stick 10 men behind the ball and keep Rooney on the edge of the box (his own), to try and set up a counter attack. Carroll the same, but for different reasons.

Henderson and Adam looked good but against a very poor United midfield.
