    I'm going to be honest, Gav was right about one thing, the price of crap has accelerated while valuables have fallen in price due to quantitative easing.
    As a result of the massive purchases of crap from Mine N' Co share price has risen, so he was wrong there :P

    That graph doesn't take into account the massive stockpiles of iron, gold and diamond I've accrued that I may flood the market with at any time. For free. :pac:

    Ohhh god!:eek:

    Not like the diamond market collapse of the previous server... anything but that!

    I lost thousands during that and gained about 30 worthless diamonds!!!

    But a version of the loaded chunks has to be stored locally, right? Not familiar with minecraft's code so I'm just guessing, but theoretically if you've loaded the chunk in game, a mod should be able to capture it (the same way you capture player skins?)

    Right I got the game the other day and haven't seen daylight since, just been on single player but going to try multi tonight. Just a few Qs:

    Where do you build a house on the server, is it in one of the towns in a designated place or can you build anywhere?

    Where do you mine? Can you just dig wherever you want?

    Do you need to download any mods?

    - Try not to build anything large and/or glaringly out-of-place in towns, and if you want to build something big (home or otherwise) try to do it well outside town boundaries. Also, you're only allowed one proper house in a generated village on the server, although you're free to claim small huts in others and/or places in user-built towns/villages.

    - Most villages have an existing mine you're supposed to focus on. If this mine is mined out or (in the case of user-built settlements) members-only then you're outta luck. Outside towns you can drill down anywhere. Just bear in mind that mob farms are illegal on this server!

    - Nope, you just need a 1.8.1 client and to be whitelisted here in order to play :)

    If anyone is looking for some animals, I was out at about -1024, 1620 and there are animals everywhere, about 10-15 sheep, few pigs and cows. I didn't have any weapons on me so they're all still there if someone wants to go claim em:P

    That name is definitely on the whitelist. Not sure what seems to be the problem. Try and reinstall minecraft from the minecraft.net site and get back to us.

    EDIT: and you are 100% sure you're running 1.8.1?

    A creeper was in Hueston when I got off the train, he blew up a bit of it, then I was fixing and another came, there's a bit of damage still, fixed what I could with the resources I had.
