Filming on Crane Street in Dublin

Hi,
I noticed this morning there is filming taking place on crane street in Dublin 8. They've changed St.James Gate into a Harland and Wolff yard. Very impressive looking indeed. Any way my question is, does anyone know what they are filming? Very Curious!! :P

I had a guided tour of Kings Inn on Saturday and the lady there was telling us that Henrietta St was being used for filming some European made drama about the Titanic. I am presuming it is the same film crew that are filming in Crane st.

Edited to say I just googled it out of curiousity and I think this is the feature that the lady mentioned "Titanic: Blood and steel". It's being filmed on location in Dublin and Serbia!

Isn't there a big Bollywoood production being filmed here aswel? Not sure when that's due to start though.

The Bollywood film was being filmed on the quays about 3 weeks ago i think.

Both are still being filmed but the Bollywood film is finishing up this week whereas the Titanic series is just starting.

The Bollywood film had a Luas crash scene which they shot up on Mount Street: http://www.broadsheet.ie/2011/10/07/just-a-luas-translation/

Hey guys anyone on mount street saturday , wow ! Great to see an Irish company behind the luas crash sequence for the Bollywood movie , it was Team fx from Ardmore studios, I know these guys, was talking to them on set, they built all the special effects rigs for the whole scene, very complex. Pneumatic hydraulic and pyro , I think they said. Anyway i'am calling out to them to get a smoke machine for my little project (I mean little) next week. Well done Aidan ,Paul,Brendan.

Titanic Blood and Steel is also being filmed in location in St Ita's Hospital in Portrane, Co Dublin.

Yeah it's Titanic Blood and Steel at St James' Gate, was an extra on it there today, and have to say it looks smashing in there
