Jay Bourke is typical of the money grubbing speculators who lost the run of themselves during the so-called "Celtic Tiger" - he got in way over his head, encouraged by the banks and feted by the media as being some sort of Messiah. He is totally in the wrong and it's one thing burning banks but not individual small businesses.
