How/Where to value a bike

    Hey,


    Does anyone know of a shop that would value a bike? I've got one for sale and am gonna buy my mates bike when I sell it.

    I want to value the new bike after I sell my own because I have insurance on my old one and would like to have the new bike covered.

    Most real bike shops will be able to value it for you.

    What's the bike and what kind of condition is it?
    Pics would be a great help.

    Put a picture here, TBH I always told customers I didnt recognise their bike was worth SFA , point being, alot of stolen bikes came through and obviously they wanted to know what to charge.

    Try looking for something similar on ebay or on adverts.ie. Don't mind the asking price on either of these sites, look at the price the items actually sell at. Plenty of people think their bike is worth 500 and can't understand why it won't sell.
    Shops will definitely offer a reasonable opinion but it's the market that decides and these sites are, effectively, the market.
