This actually happened in Kerry (as far as I recall) a good few years ago. Child born with African features to two white Irish parents. After a bit of rooting they found African relatives on both sides of the family dating to the 1800's.

Actually have a friend whoose great grandfather was from Senegal. Everyone else he is descended from on both sides is white though. Anyway if he gets any sort of sun tan at all you'd swear he was from India. It's odd how genes work.

The princess I'm married too is mixed race with Jewish ancestors(yeah I know,I'm lucky)...We've four boys,three are ok.....the other one dresses as a pimp, calls his girlfriend a 'ho ..the thing is ..he looks like a typical Jew ,hook nose ,curly black hair,pale skin ..wears glasses.

Tomorrow night at 9.00 on BBC2, there's a programme about twins from a mixed race couple, and the one of the twins is white while the other is black. I saw a clip of it earlier. Apparently the black lad talks about their difference a lot at home. (They're only about 6 years old.)

I think it's the first of 5 programmes. Twincredibles.

True story.

My best friend knows this guy, now hes a complete ponse in very sense of the word.

So this guy is going out with this girl a while, shes has a year year old kid from other guy she was seeing a while back. So they break up and la la la get back together again.

She tells him shes pregnant and that its his. He says cool and stays with her. So 9 months later she givers birth, the baby comes out black. Now both of the parents are pure white.

He rings my best friend and asks "Is it possible to have a black baby"?(since hes white) my friend says ehh yeah yeah I think so,(he doesn't know what to say) so the guy accepts his son is black.

Eventually after thinking long and hard over a few weeks he asks the girl and she says its not his.

The situation described is possible, back in the 70's we studied it at school during Biology ~ we didn't know the gnome then, but we were working on it.

We all have descended from Black origins so it wouldn't take much of an error to make a dark skinned offspring from otherwise Caucasian parents.
