I was just up at the shop and after I got out of the car heading in some old man pulled up beside my car and when he was getting out of his car smacked his door against mine. So I waited till he got fully out and said "Would you mind being a bit more careful with your door in future please" and nodded at my door.

He looked at my car and then me and said "fúck off".

Now my car isn't worth a fortune but I paid for it with my hard earned money. I just can't understand some peoples disregard for others peoples cars. If I was more of a confrontational person I would have probably got into an arguement but I thought it wasn't worth the effort.

This is just a vent I suppose and where better to do it than AH!

Stuff bags of cocaine up his exhaust pipe and call the guards with an anonymous tip.

You need to carry a standard length of 4x2 in the boot to deal with these sort of situations. Usually a good smack on the back of the head with same, brings manners on these people.

Bóllix and the squads were in the carpark as well. Next time though...next time!

Put in a claim against the shop owners for making the car park spaces too small.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

Some douchebag tried being overly aggressive with me once in a carpark when I pulled into a space he was waiting for - I didn't realise that, because the giant SUV that reversed out took forever to do so, and then the guy above drove past the spot (or rather his wife did). I hadn't realised she intended to reverse into the spot, until I was in.

As I put it in reverse to correct my error, the guy came over and started shouting the odds at me. He'd been waiting an hour, and I'd only arrived and how dare I etc. He was about 60ish, I was 32 at the time. He was being very condescending and aggressive and wasn't listening to my apologies or the fact that I had being preparing to move,so I got out of my car and walked over to his wife and said, calmly, "I made a mistake, I was preparing to move back out, but then your oaf of a husband came along and behaved extremely aggressively, so I don't think I'll bother now. I have your reg. number, and the carpark has CCTV, so you'd better tell him not to get any ideas", and started to walk away.

The guy got into his car, then got out again, followed me and half-apologised, reluctantly, like a 4 year old who'd just kicked his mother.

I then moved out of the spot and I said that's what I was doing when he arrived and just because he was older he didn't have to be an asshole about it. A space then came available 10 cars down, so I got into that and waved at them, smiling as they emerged from their car :-). All that fuss for nothing...

Really pisses me off, I do my best to tell the kids to hold on to the door and open it slowly when getting in and out of a car so as not to touch the other cars.

Should've kicked his door or door window.
Play it safe and kick the door because if you kick the door window you might not put it through and then you end up looking very foolish.

Or just key a smiley face into the door.

I was just up at the shop and when I was getting out of the car some young fella comes running up screaming I hit his care and yelling at me I had no respect for his property blah blah, so I told him to 'fvck off' - was that you? If it was then 'fvck off!'

If I were you OP I would have just nodded and then gone to his passenger side and started taking down his insurance details and then his reg number. It really pisses people off.

Reminds me of a day in Galway when I was with my son in his car - quite old but his pride and joy because he worked hard to earn the price of it. Two guys having a chat decided to sit up on the back of the car and when my son asked them to get off they became abusive and started making fun of him.... he's 20 and they were in their 50s!
What is it with people - just a little bit of respect for each other would make the world a far nicer place to live in.

Well, that's how it ended. He apologised so I moved, then after all that a space came up straight away so I gave him a smug smile. Perhaps I should have mentioned the miffed expression on his face as I waved...

    Jeez, no pleasing some people.

Mayeb I should have made something up like: "So then I punched his wife and got the hell outta there..."

You should have waited till he was gone and stole both his wing mirrors. That'd learn em.

No point. He wouldn't be using them anyway. Seriously OP, why didn't you wait for him too go into the shop and then write "C*CKSMOKER" [without the *] in the dirt on the driver's door?

Key "don't knock off my door" into his bonnet. Other than that when someone has the audacity to tell you to "f*ck off", give them a smack. Pure and simple.
