Fireangel CO Alarms and Smoke alarm half price, these are top notch products highly recommended, images attached.

Also included the fire blanket, €2 more that lidl/aldi but hardy worth the trip if you don't shop there anyway.

The digital CO alarm one has a 7 year battery built in.

The smoke alarm has a 10 year battery built in.

Picked up a couple in Jervis at lunchtime - still a good few of them and the carbon monoxide ones left.
They're in aisle 6 and not in the hardware section where i was sent first!

Also, there are some non-10 year fire angel smoke alarms beside them which are €8 and not reduced (for some reason),

Even if it works and is reliable electrochemical CO sensor has life varying from 18 months to 5 years typically even professional exhaust gas analysers are typically only 2 years so you can be sure this cheap yoke will be on the short end of that scale. So expect 18 months -2 year life and add in batteries - not a bargain.

Well,I managed to get the very last Fire Angel 2 carbon monoxide alarms today in Tesco for half price.7 year battery life.

Bought 1 for the living area and multi fuel stove and bought the 2nd 1 for the kitchen/diner and the gas boiler/gas hob.

So I think I got lucky today.:)

Just a note to people to make sure to install it at the correct height, carbon monoxide is heavier than air so the alarm need to be alot nearer the floor that you'd imagine.
I see them all the time on shelves and mantlepieces you'd be unconscious before it went off.

Check manufactures instructions for correct installation, Carbon Monoxide is slightly lighter than air.
