    That it is. PHECC have one in development along the same lines. Great app that will save lives

    Sounds great, It would eat battery life but would be worth it.

    Also 3G coverage in Ireland isent great which might be a issue but if you send a message to 5 people 1 might respond and be able to give help.


    A step in the right direction.

    I wonder does it send a message to X number of people or instead to everyone within a pre-determined radius?

    If it automatically updates location it can be woeful on battery - I installed google latitude recently and it cut battery life to about 6 hours standby as it was constantly updating location.
