sky problem

    I have a problem with a sky plus box it keeps saying no satellite signal on certain channells at the moment its on dave and rte I GOT a different box made no differance put a new quad on made no differance .I have a good meter and the levels are fine.The cable also looks fine:confused:

    horizon meter the same quads as sky use forget name

    Cable may look fine but could be damaged/joined badly somewhere along it's run.

    What does your meter tell you about the problem frequencies?

    Dodgy cable or connections can 'take out' specific frequencies while leaving others relatively unaffected.

    Did this box/dish setup work properly at any stage?

    found problem somebody put a splitter on cable in attic
