I'm thinking of asking Sky for a second HD box to replace the standard box I have in my front room.
Anyone have any idea as to how I should approach them to maybe get a good deal.
I already have a HD box in another room.

What are my chances, do you think?

I enquired about a similar upgrade & was quoted 209 euro from sky, but have seen people on here get free or greatly reduced offers by telling them u want to cancel some or all of your package. Sky may call your bluff though when you go the 'cancel' route.
I ended up getting almost new box of ebay for 99 euro delivered.

If you've already gotten a free one from them you won't get another, by all means give it a go but Sky HD boxes often go on adverts for €50 or a little more so probably your best bet.

Doing a similar upgrade for a customer who has sky+ and a standard box, hes swapping out the std box for another sky+. Cost is €109 for this and this includes the install, would be similar if not cheaper upgrade for you if you are taking the hd mix on the second box but your bill mite increase for the second hd mix not sure if their current offer of one hd mix per customer applies to exsisting customers but well worth asking.
