Java and C# for absolute complete beginners

Can anyone recommend some good website or video tutorials particularly for for Java, and also C#. The reason I emphasise Java is that I find it harder to come by good websites and tutorials for Java. Does anyone have any experience with the website http://lynda.com, would you recommend?

I have not done any of these, but they are MIT courses and they are free! I didn't see Java or C#, but it does have C and C++.
