    Hi There,

Just a quick question for those in the know. I am having issues with my internet speeds and connection and the customer service rep told me there appears to be a lot on noise on the line which is affecting the available speeds.

Can anyone tell me what this actually means? And what I/they can do to fix it?

    Thanks a mill!

Could have a dodgy telecoms box where the copper enters your house/apartment.

    Noise is unwanted interference.

Strange, it had only become an issue since I've changed providers though. Had perfect connection to the house with Eircom!

I'm with DigiWeb now. Do you think that may be the problem?

Have you placed DSL filters on all phone sockets in use?

Yup, I have just one phone line with a DSL filter on it.
