Would a small dent in dish make a difference to reception, and if so, where on the dish would be worse?

    Thanks

    TC

Did this 'small dent' also cause warping of the dish? Post a picture (or 2).

    Thanks Peter.

It is a second hand 1.1 and the only photo is a bad one on a phone.
    It is only €25............

    Worth a gamble?

    Cheers

    TC

I suppose if the overall dish shape hasn't been affected, and a small dent could be filled if necessary . . .

It's just that you'll need all the signal you can get for what you're after.

A small dent on a sky dish can affect signal especially if its center placed on the dish, however on some occasions the dent can be pushed back out by turning the dish around and pushing it forward.
