It's a black box game, means its one of the first games released for the system around about launch. Nothing too special I believe.

Yeh i looked it up on the internet, seems theres a list of about 20-30 games that where released in small boxes early in their runs.

Nice...but what's the story with the Microvision? You found it in a building? How does that work :pac:

Oh and as I previously mentioned in this thread, DO NOT OPEN UP THAT TOMY MECHANICAL TOY! It's instant springy gear related death if you do.

Very nice haul there alpa! Trying to think if that sh1te Game On exhibition in town had one of those Oric-1 chaps. You could almost set up your own museum at this stage. :)

He was clearly partaking in the magical and spiritual act of having a few cans in an old abandoned building when he came across it. :pac:

Been a reasonably quiet week for me on the games front as I've been looking to acquire a video processor. I found one on Friday last week. By Sunday I'd bought 3 of them. :o

No pics of these as they are already set up round my gaf. One I'm using for retro consoles, the other is under my TV, the other got damaged in the mail so I'm getting that sorted (probably with another processor!).

Got some games too, one of which I think is rather nice, albeit a marmite game.

Processors I received are (stock images used but condition of the ones I bought is mint too, one of which was BNIB):

    1. DVDO VP20 (OEM) [BNIB]:

    2. DVDO iScan HD+ [USED]:

    3. DVDO Edge [USED]:

    4. CYP 380 Scan Converter [BNIB]:
    AV1303706-40.jpg

    5. A few RGB to RGBs cables, SCART selector, couplers etc. Not that interesting!

    6. Cyberbots (Limited Edition) [Sega Saturn, NTSC-J, CIB, RC-OCD]:

    7. Platypus [PSP, PAL, BNIB, SG-OCD], Outrun 2006 [PSP, PAL, CIB], Bomberman Land [PSP, PAL, CIB]:

    8. Namco Museum Vol. 1 [PS1, PAL, CIB]:

Oh and work gave us the new Bold 9900 this week. Nice toy to play with, much better than the Torch! Still prefer my own iPhone 4 though.

Delighted with Namco Museum Vol. 1. I only need Vol. 4 from the PAL releases and Vol. 1 from the Japanese releases to complete both sets now. Not sure if I'll go for the NTSC-U set as I don't like the cover art.

The Cyberbots limited edition set is amazing. The hardback book is a work of beauty. Even has pics of the CPSII board and a full manga strip and character designs. Great stuff for a Gundam/Mecha/SHMUP addict!

Few more bits on the way but post has been really odd this week. Next week! :)

Thanks for reminding me that's out. Another game to pick up in the season of wallet rape :D

I'd say that game has the potential to be a rare one in future.

Popped into the Balbriggan market this morning, that place has really gone downhill since last time i was there... Nevertheless, picked up a nearly-mint Final Fantasy 8 for a fiver.

Also got one of these off ebay for 12 incl shipping, mint in box, inserts perfect with all the bits including the original guarantee card (just in case it's faulty ;) )

Yeah, some of those old pong machines go through valves like no ones business!
And all you need is a Logie Baird TV to run it on, get the slotted disk up to speed!!

My latest additions over the past 2 weeks...

Jap Saturn to replace the PAL one I already have. It's region modded, also (switchless).

    :D

    Nice!

As a matter of interest, did the recent appearance of Radiant Silvergun on XBL affect the price you got it for? I was meaning to keep an eye on auctions ending over the last couple of weeks just to see if it had any kind of impact.

Not that I could see, no. It's probably too early to tell.

Jeez you don't mess around when it comes to premium titles eh?! :pac:

Nice Saturn, great to see a white one that's not yellowed. Loving the SC-OCD too and great to see a fellow PC Engine owner by the way. The club is expanding... :)

    €9 Offered:

Offering €9, a pickled egg and a bag of crips that may or may not be in date.

I'm having a little trouble with the DUO RX I got from doujindance, actually. It's not reading certain games too well. I've opened her up and adjusted the laser pot and I've gotten some troublesome games to read but, Rondo of Blood there isn't reading and I'm (understandably) annoyed. It's not the disc as I've tested it elsewhere. It could also be the replacement laser that he put into it isn't great. I'll have to do some more experiments and further adjustments.

Add a ton or so on top of that and you can have mine. ;) (although you can hold onto the out of date produce)

Nice stuff sir! But that doesn't sound good if there's problems with that doujindance machine, considering the prices he charges... :(

Odd. I've had no issues with mine, but as you say, could be a lens problem. Hope you get it sorted.

Picked up Aliens: Infestation myself the other day, along with Ico/SOTC collection. Also picked up Thor for the DS, another WayForward game.

Shadows of the Empire really hasn't aged well at all.
