I was going to have breakfast before I left but I know that my friends will also want to stop for breakfast when we arrive. Please help!!

If you like burgers the counter in Suffolk st (bottom of grafton st) is good cos you tailor make your own. I ate there last week and had a gorgeous chicken burger for 12 points. Their site (might be the UK one) has all the nv's so you can work it out first. I had the smallest piece of chicken they have in the muffin and loaded it with 0pp veg like onions, lettuce, jalapenos etc with the relish. It was really nice.

Breakfast I'm not so sure about. I'll try to think of somewhere and I'll get back to you.

    Enjoy the day!!

Whenever I have to eat out for breakfast it's normally places that do a fry up which my boyfriend will get but I just ask for scrambled eggs or beans on brown toast. Really fills you up for the day too so you only need a light lunch. Most places will be able to do this for you if you ask. You can even ask if they will use low fat milk too as it is something they are making from scratch anyway.
As for lunch you could get a nice filling veg soup. Again, most places will have that on offer.

Hmmm don't panic. I guess just be organised if you can. First off my back up is always having 'the survival kit' in the handbag. Our leader is always calling it that. So have some fruit in your handbag and for me a low pp treaat for coffee etc. I usually bring like the ww biscuits as there pre packed and 2pp. So when my sisters are having a scone of a muffin I have that. (they know I do ww though, don't know about your friends?)
Breakfast out is always hardest. If you have a banana with you as well that would fill you up. The likes of Kylemore etc will do small cereal boxes so you could have that or 2 toast. If your in the likes of Cafe Sol or Insomnia they do porridge and that. Everywhere in town seems to have a healthy option for breakfast just take your time on deciding.
Lunch defo do salad. Everywhere will do healthy options just get any dressings on the side. Bewleys on Grafton Street do gorgeous salads and they don't mind leaving off dressings. Also Eddie Rockets and McDonalds just check it out first in case they want to go there.
Then dinner.....weeklies all the way ha ha!! Ah no plenty of good places about with same advice as above.

I only drink 1 litre of water plus what ever I have during the day at work which would be a few little cupfulls and I find thats enough..I've had good weight losses every week. Also I think its in one of the booklets we got that they recommend you drink 1.2 litres of water a day. Anything over 2 litres your body retains I think..I could be wrong.

Probably a bit late seeing as you're coming up early in the morning but Nando's near Jervis is nice for lunch plus if you google it, you'll easily find the pro points for nearly the entire menu...off the top of my head, the chicken burger is 11 points, a small portion of wings is 4 points as is the mash. If you're grabbing coffee in Jervis, head to Costa cos the skinny coffee there is really low in points and you'll find their points online too. Enjoy the shopping!

    Up 2lbs this week :-(
This might get me back on track as had been slacking off the last month

Down 1.5lbs this week! Great Start to October :D:D Three Months to go! :D

    DELIGHTED!

I've been really busy getting involved with stuff to keep my on my feet and occupied! I'm getting involved in charity work and animal stuff. I'm protector to some little kittens living on the farm next door...make sure they survive...without taking them away from there mammy...so over next few weeks I have to tame them, find them homes or if they stay on the farm get them neutered :)

This week I had My bran muffins, Tortilla Quiches, Tesco Light Choices Steak Mince, lots of good things around me! Bringing bottles of water and bran muffins to college in my bag :D

Had a treat for myself for breakfast as I'm visitng my parents and they dont' have any porridge but had stacked the fridge with the following:

    3 Denny Gold Medal sausages [5PP for 2, so I pointed 7PP for 3]
    1 Denny Rasher [2PP]
Denny White pudding [Pointed it at 2PP, but think I had less than the portion]
SPAR White Sliced bread is 5PP for 2 slices - I've always pointed white bread slices at 2 each, looks like I could have been wrong in the past!
    Had ketchup for 1PP

So all in all, an expensive breakfast! 17PP! Ouch! Still, have my 49PP and won't be spending them on anything else this weekend, rarely use them all anyway. WI isn't until Thursday this week so I've an extra day so must be good Monday - Thursday.

well done on the loss lainy!!!!! Hopefully that shows the last of the depo out of your system!!!!
Everyone seems to be having a successful week. I was FREEZING today and was so tempted when i found myself in macdonalds but i just had a side salad (because it wasnt even lunch time) but that made me colder so when i came home instead of having the salmon salad that i planed i decided to make lainy's quiche anyway while that was cooking i decided to make soup. Ive never made soup before and i dont even like it (hate the idea of drinking my food) but my leader suggested to us to use frozen veg instead of having to cut it up and tins of tomatoes and chili/ curry pouder/ any herbs that are in the cubord and blend. So decided that i needed space in the freezer so i made soup and it was ready before the quiche so i had a boul and it was amazing i only bended it a bit so it had loads of chunks in it and was so warm and filling i didn't even bother with the quiche when it was done (so its in the fridge for tomorrows lunch) which is brilliant cause that leaves me more points for dinner at my parents house as i have no weeklys left (they were gone less that 12 hours after i weighed in as himself brought me out on a date day) didnt know how i was gonna survive this week with no weeklys untill i discovered zero point soup!!!!

    Hi everyone,

Great inspiration on here. Keep it up. Looking for the ww zero point veg soup receipe.

Would anyone oblige by posting the receipe?

Also, what shop brands veg or mushroom soup have low pro point for the lazy days!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14 purdy nolan

For my ww zero point soup i use,
    1 butternut squash
    1 courgette
    2 carrotts
    1 red onion
    1 red pepper
    garlic to taste
    1 chicken stock cube
    chille .
    450ml boiled water
I cut all my veg up at start of week and put in freezer bags so if i'm in a hurry i just throw a bag of veg in to pot with water, stock cube and seasoning and boil.
    Lovely and so filling;)

There isn't a whole load of the new PP ones out there. Although, I think the old points one would be just as handy, you just have to convert the PP but at least they are still low point recipes.

I have 3 old point recipe books, and to be honest, apart from 1, they are pretty crap. And there was only a few recipes I liked in that one. I love recipes that take hardly any ingredients because I buy what I need to cook with so if a recipe calls for 50g of X, and it only comes in 200g, I ended up wasting a lot of food.
