Hi all. I was wondering, can anyone here connect to the PS3 game servers at all with mobile broadband? I'm not looking to play online but I just want to take advantage of the Online Collector's Dealership and Seasonal Events in Gran Turismo 5. I was able to log on no problem a few days ago but now I can't :(. There are also other webpages that seemed to be blocked last night (PayPal.com, iRacing.com etc.). I read on a forum somewhere that the error code I get is 80028ED6 relates to an ISP problem.

iv 3 broadband and its always losing connection and signing me out of psn. the connection is lost for just a few secs but that's enough to kick me off a online game of fifa12. its an awful service.

is anyone using Vodafone mobile broadband and is it reliable? i really need to find another cheap broadband provider before bf3 & mw3

No mobile service is good for gaming. Even if it doesn't drop all the time you still get horrible latency. There is no comparison between this and a fixed dsl line or cable.

Well its its not our fault its only kind of "broadband" we can get were we live.

Yeah that sucks. This mobile nonsense is not "broadband" at all, I don't know how they get away with calling it that. Even ****ty 1Mbit eircom is better for gaming on.

    To the topic creator:

Turn off your firewall while connecting your PS3.

    To everyone else:

Leave the modem (If you can even call it that) as close to the window as you can.
