Best Gym in Ballybofey/Stranonlar

    Hi, currently located up here for a few months for work. Just wondering which is the best gym to join up here. Dont care about price more concerned with the facilities. Thanks

    The hotels, Jackson and Kees and possibly the Villa Rose have gyms but I think you have to take out membership. I think you can get a 3 month membership with them which would also include the pool. There's also a gym in the Finn Valley AC premises in Stranorlar.

    No idea as to the standards.

    Are you into swimming? If so, both Kees and Jacksons have pools, however the one in Kees is tiny.

    Depends what you're looking for.

    Kees - small pool (steam room etc) & small gym.
    Jacksons - 20m pool (good size steam room etc) & quite good gym.
    Finn Valley - no pool etc. Brand new 400m tartan track & 800m grass lap, I've never used gym but hear it can get quite busy as they are not expensive.

    There is also the possibility of Letterkenny which is only 20mins down the road which has at least two good gyms (Aura (sp?) and gym warehouse).
