The wireless started going south last year.

According to ITD it is due to the amount of smartphones on campus, requesting access to join the wireless network. Cant handle it apparently.

makes sense in a way. look at the amount of students now that have phones and ipods that are always automatically connecting and disconnecting from the wifi each day towards 2 years ago almost every phone these days has wife. my phone can be got for 50 quid and its even got wifi, most of them will remember the UL wifi and d connect as soon as it picks up the signal.

Why the **** is the standard magnifier on the CSIS computers set so that when you run it it's a ****ty little rectangle at the top that you can't resize.... so ****ing irritating when there're only two PC's in a lab that have software that works. >:(

The SU shop charged me €4.65 today for a hot chicken roll + can of coke yet there are signs up everywhere saying it's €3.50! Apparently that offer only applies to certain fillings in the roll (I asked the till operator, the offer apparently changed since last week) but that isn't publicised either! I was half tempted to leave the products behind but was just too hungry afrter my half an hour of queuing!

    Stables from now on methinks

I got a roll a few hours ago. The signs are no longer up advrtising the €3.50 offer and I was told at the deli that I'd need to get lettuce and tomatoes in my chicken roll in order to get the meal deal.

They charged me €1.85 for a can of coke and a pack of taytos even though it says that it should come to €1 according to the signs. In hindsight I should have complained..

I bring in my laptop so I don't have to wait of a computer. Now when I have to print something I wait, with my Laptop, for a computer making the queue longer for people who need the computer to do some work. I wonder what can be done to solve.

Hi all Paddy Rockett Here your Campaigns and Services officer.I went out today with a little walk and talk with you great people and around the shop there were some people who were annoyed at the pricing or change in price of some items. If anybody would like to clarify the issue I will get onto it straight away to get it resolved. If you could email me sucso@ul.ie that would be great I can get it sorted by tomorrow! Cheers -Paddy

one of the lads wanted a small roll for the 2euro deal. he didnt want lettuce or tomato, just cheese. the woman at the deli told him he couldnt get it for 2euro

    It's a pain in the ass :)

I work evenings and nights, getting to sleep ~02.30 on a Thursday night. Lectures 12-3 on Friday, and I must go straight to work @3pm so I have to take the car with me if I'm not to be late. If I want to get a non-pay space I've to be in before ~08.15, and all the staff spaces are gone before 9am. I sometimes have access to a car with a staff sticker, getting a lift in with a friend on staff.

Bit of a pain in the ass to have to get up early after a late work night the previous night, otherwise I tend to be late for work. I've the choice of being late or being knackered..
