    Tevez out.

    Dzeko dropped.

Did he lose the plot as well or something

Dzeko had a bit of a strop about been subbed. Had words with Mancini coming off and threw his tracksuit top on the ground when sitting on the bench.

Seen it many times before but throw the Tevez situation in n the same night and it suddenly looks like a bit of a meltdown.

Probably not, and as I've said seen it with many other players before but with the nights that's in it........

That would be something else should it come to pass. I thought this was a brilliant reaction from Balo at the weekend, in stark contrast with what happened tonight with Tevez.

I have gained alot of respect for Mancini tonight, I think he has handled things as well as he could.

He spoke openely about Tevez and has hung him out to try, he could have taken the easy option and said little or nothing.

I also like the way he openly said Dzeko played very poorly and that's why he came off and he's the manager and he makes the decisions.

Proper order in a difficult situation where another manager in his situation would have went hiding.

For all his craziness aside, I hope Mario Ballotelli profits from this. Im in the minority here but I want the lad to succeed and heres his big chance!

i do not care if what he's done is deplorable, which it is.

this place is supposed to be above simply calling him a cúnt or the like.

    no need.

plus we still have a charter lads and lasses.

    thanks.

Any club that actually tries to sign him needs to take a good look at themselves. Unless he apologies unreservedly he doesn't deserve to play football again.

Whats the worst word that I could call him within the confines of the charter, just out of interest? :)

Should be left to rot in the reserves for the rest of his contract

I cant any of the clubs in Europe going for Tevez in January after tonights antics by him,a super player but he has been trouble since he came to EPL

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,313 ✭✭✭AstonMartin

Do you really think the dubai owners are going to let a 50m rated asset wallow in the reserves until his contract expires?

He will be sold in january for about 30m to a spanish or brazialian club or possibly inter. If he goes to anzhi he should be sent off by de jong.

Also, Mancini had a bit of a blow out with Zabaleta. I think he thought Zab was refusing to come on too or giving instructions on the bench to others. Apparently Mancini picked this up wrong and has since apologised and cleared the air with Zab.

Dzeko was unhappy with being subbed, this is true, and he had a hissy fit. Three other rumours now surfacing are that Tevez wouldnt come on as he doesn't want to be cup tied. This is false, He played against Napoli AFAIK.

Second one is he didnt want to come on because Mancini took of a Striker for a defensive MF. Only Carlos "The Jackal" knows if this is true.

Lastly, I'm hearing Zabeleta had a swing a Tevez off the pitch over his behviour and causing the misunderstanding with Mancini. Again I can't confirm but its not impossible.

Tevez is starting to get messages of support of the "City would let him leave and treated him badly, they are getting what they deserve" variety.

This will rumble on for weeks.

Not a Man City fan at all but I actually feel for Mancini here. His players are letting him down badly.

i can understand Dzekos frustrations to an extent, i thought he was far more effective than aguero or nasri to name 2 that could have been taken off in his place

I love how some people are suggesting or hoping for a meltdown at City, lads they've got about 200 quality players. Like rows of shark teeth that squad.

Saw an excellent tweet earlier on:
To be fair to Tevez, his bench was situated to the SW and just wanted to be near his family

    It doesn't matter.

Have a chat with the manager after the game and air your frustrations then. Don't go off in a strop displaying a shocking attitude and a basic lack of respect to your manager. It doesn't do anyone any good. Not him, not Mancini, not the team.

But that happens all the time with other players at other clubs, so it's not the biggest deal in the world either. They'll move on from that, but Tevez on the other hand..
