Root Vegetables are your man. Carrots, parsnips, swede. Put them in a covered roasting dish chopped in similar sized pieces, a little water and maybe a little spray oil. Salt, Pepper and rosemary. Cook for an hour at 150C.

I put onion, mushrooms, peppers, scallion, par boiled parsnips, baby tomatoes in a casserole type dish with a lid, add a teaspoon of oil and mediterranean veg seasoning (can't think of the make, comes in a paper sashet I'll get back to you) & mix around then roast away, I leave for about an hour but would depend how you like your veg, it's gorgeous & I'm not a veggie person but I'd eat the whole bowl!

Not sure if this is them, but I found this on the Ikea website:

    Swedish Meatballs: 6 Meatballs

    Calories - 210
    Fat - 13g
    Carbs - 9g
    Protein - 14g

    So that's 6pp for 6 meatballs

I throw everything that can be eaten into a roasting bag and depending on the humour, sometimes I throw some curry powder/chilli/paprika/herbs over them. I like a big bag of mushrooms, butternut squash, tomatoes, peppers, courgettes, carrots, broccoli, onions - anything that's roastable! (if that's a word)!

GRRRRR I really need to get my 4th silver seven this week, it's taken double the length of time this time to lose 7lbs. Was a pound away from it then threw myself off the wagon and went back up, now I'm a pound and a half off it, really want to do it this week. Had a party this weekend, was really good foodwise (not so good beerwise) but I think I pointed it accurately enough and I started walking again this morning after three weeks of being a lazy article. On the bright side, none of my clothes fit me so I had to get a pair of jeans - two bloody sizes smaller than my last pair!!! Best of luck for tomorrow & the rest of the week x

    Hey all,

Been following everyone's progress here even though I haven't posted! I've started doing the plan at home as I really can't justify €10 per week on something I know I can do at home.

I have good kitchen scales, good person scales, a book for tracking and my points calculator...anything else that would be a must have?

I'm still aiming for a stone gone by Christmas, probably around 1.5lb off per week. Weighed myself last night and I'm pleased that I haven't gained any weight since my last meeting.

I'm hoping I'll be okay without the structure of the meetings, but at the end of the day it's me that wants to lose the weight and I'll only be fooling myself if I don't stick with it.

Back to college a fortnight ago, and already my exercise has increased with all the walking around I'm doing :P

    Fingers crossed for me!

It think it might be them, the bag certainly looks the same on the website. Love these meatballs!

Heya, just thought I'd let ye know (if ye don't already) that the Lidl brand potato waffles are only 2pp each, had one with a poached egg, mushrooms and a green tea for breakfast, lovely filling breakfast for 4pp - bargain! I find breakfast the hardest meal of the day points wise, so just thought this might be a nice idea if any of you have the same problem x

    Hi there

Iv been a ww member since 2008.. ( had been a member previos but this is when i actually did it properly and reaped the benefits)!

I lost 4st 4lbs from aug 2008 til july 2009.. I moved to London in Feb 2010 and have been puttin weight on pretty much since then..

I was 15st .5llb when I first started and I got down to 10st 13lb. Im pleased to say I have found my mojo again.. Im currently 12st 6lbs and i have WI on thurs..

Have any of you got any advice regarding the weekly points i was told to use all points this week.. but not sure how this will all balance out ??

Any advice will be greatly appreciated :D

    Shell x

@Shell, well done on all your hard work! You should be proud of yourself, you've made some massive achievements!

I'm still not sure about the weekly points to be honest. My leader said that we don't have to eat them all, and that it's obvious if you don't eat them all, you'll lose more weight. I didn't use one single weekly for the first two weeks, the first week I lost 6.5, the second I only lost 1. So I honestly don't know. I've been using my weeklies ever since, and some weeks I'm up, some I'm down. I use them on the weekend, so mine are usually gone by Sunday - I think they're great to have as a backup or emergency (like if you wanted a bar or something and you didn't have the points left) but I don't think I'd be happy if I was still eating weeklies on Mon/Tue/Wed/Thur!! I tend to enjoy my weekends and take my few drinks/snacks out of my weeklies and then get back into super WW mode on a Monday morning. I'm 26.5 lbs down in total since the end of June - it's working so far! (she said, dreading Thursday WI)

Hi all, I did WW from March to June and lost a stone. I gave up going to the classes at the end of June but kept reading these posts every day and posted my weight for GT_TDI_150's motivation thing ( I put on 5lbs because I stopped tracking in July and never got going again!). I don't want anymore to go back on so its back to tracking for me! Reading about so many people aiming to lose a stone by C'mas has given me the motivation to get going again....and to get a normal BMI!! The kids are back at school so its easier to get into a routine. PS GT_TDI_150, any chance you would consider restarting the motivation chart again please? Seems like a lot of people have weight loss goals before C'mas. I know you stopped because people weren't sending you their weight each week, possibly due to holidays etc, but maybe it people might be more committed to it between now + December. (No problem if you don't want to do it again)

Two sizes smaller!! Well done! Just bottle that feeling that you got when you fitted the smaller sizes and think about it every time you feel like falling off the wagon again!

I'm wearing a pair of trousers today that will be going into retirement after their next wash. I can take them off without unbuttoning and are only staying on with a belt.

    Yay!

I always point the raw weight. its roughly 1pp per 50g raw weight

Very delayed response but thanks, Lainy!

Down 3lbs at weigh in tonight, woo hoo! Was sick the weekend before last so wasn't sure what way it would affect me as I had to rely on himself to get the food which involved a couple of takeaways (I'm going to make sure my son is capable of cooking a few basic meals before he leaves home lol). But I think WW is really making an impact because I found I didn't eat that much of the bad stuff really. Does anyone else notice how salty other food seems to be when you're making your own all the time?

Id love to be posting on this more often..
Went back to WW after about 4 weeks off and am down 3.5lbs!!
DOnt ask me how.. I think my last WI I must have eaten before i went in!

Trying to lose 1stone for xmas.. Ill be a gold member then I think.
    :)

Tell me about it!! Am currently 0.5 pounds away from goal but seem to be yo-yoing around goal without actually hitting it!! Hopefully next week :-)

On a food note, the Blue Dragon Sweet Chilli & Garlic stir fry sauce sachet is GORGEOUS!! Well worth the 2pp per serving. Tastes as good as any Chinese takeaway
