Are AIB lodgements not instant anymore?

    I lodged money yesterday in my local AIB to use online and it wasn't in my account when I got home. I went back in and they tried again and it wasn't online or when I went to the ATM it said insufficient balance.

    It's been a few months since I used AIB and the money always went into my account straight away.

    Has something changed?

    Im going back in at about 2 but just thought I'd ask here.
