I'm trying to hook up my brand new Philips 8000 series TV to my computer, but I cannot find a "media server application" (according to the display) that works.

    Does anyone know of one?
    XBMC isn't detected, etc.

I have no experience of XBMC or whether or not it supports DNLA but I do know that Twonky Media Server does. I've used it successfully on a Mac serving to a PS3 which requires a DLNA server.

The Philips TV you have, in the specs, says it's DLNA v1.0 compliant so maybe this is the way to go ?
